OUR STORY
Little Spuds Pediatrics is Washington’s first in-home pediatric urgent care, created to bring high-quality, compassionate medical care directly to your doorstep. Whether your child is sick, needs rapid testing, medication, or even ear piercing, we provide expert care where it’s most comfortable — at home.
Founded by a mom and pediatric expert, Afton Potter, Little Spuds is built for busy families who need safe, reliable care without the stress of clinic visits, traffic, or long wait times.
When you book a visit with Little Spuds, you’re getting more than medical care — you’re getting a pediatric partner who truly cares.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to deliver exceptional pediatric urgent care that is accessible, transparent, and convenient. By bringing our services directly to your doorstep, we take the stress out of medical visits, offering cash-only services with no hidden fees or confusing insurance policies.
WHAT WE OFFER:
-
When you schedule an in-home sick evaluation with Little Spuds, your child will receive a medical evaluation and treatment plan by an experienced pediatric provider. A home visit saves you time, prevents exposure to illnesses other children may have in an office waiting room, and can be less stressful for your child. Here at Little Spuds, we aim to make parent's lives easier. That's why we also offer in-home point of care testing and medication dispensing for common conditions when applicable. When your child is sick, make your life a little easier by skipping the waiting room and schedule an in-home pediatric urgent care visit with Little Spuds today!
-
Unsure if your child's healthcare condition requires urgent care evaluation, primary care evaluation or emergency care evaluation? Schedule a telehealth visit with Little Spuds! Our lead pediatric provider, Afton Potter, has experience triaging, evaluating and treating common childhood illnesses. If your child's condition is treatable with a telehealth visit, you'll save a trip to the office and your child can be evaluated comfortably at home. If an in-home evaluation or emergency care is needed, we'll guide you through the process.

MEET AFTON
Founder & Lead Pediatric Provider
Hi! I’m Afton — mom of three, pediatric nurse practitioner, and the hands and heart behind every Little Spuds visit. I started Little Spuds because I saw a real need for simplified, accessible care for kids. As a parent, I know how hard it can be to fit one more thing into a packed schedule — especially when your child is sick.
With over 20 years in pediatric healthcare, including pediatric ER, urgent care, and hospital critical care, I bring both clinical expertise and compassion to every home visit. I’m here to make sure families feel supported, informed, and confident in their child’s care — all from the comfort of home.

WHAT OUR LITTLE SPUD FAMILIES SAY
BLOG
Peruse some of our thoughts and research on all things that come to health, wellness, and caring for your little ones.
At Little Spuds Pediatrics, we know how much families across Clark County—from Vancouver and Camas to Ridgefield, Battle Ground, Woodland, and beyond—love taking advantage of our beautiful lakes, rivers, and sunny trails each summer. But we also know how quickly a fun day can turn into an urgent situation.
That’s why we created this essential guide to summer safety. In it, you’ll find practical tips on preventing drowning at local lakes and backyard pools, protecting kids from sunburn and heat exhaustion, keeping little ones safe around fireworks and open windows, and making sure every bike ride through Southwest Washington’s neighborhoods starts with a properly fitted helmet.
Our mobile pediatric urgent care team is here to keep your family healthy all summer long—delivering expert, compassionate care right to your doorstep when you need it most.
Read on to learn how to keep your kids safe, happy, and enjoying every moment this season.
